I work with a guy who is color blind. Not all people who are color blind are color blind to the same degree. In fact, everyone is on a scale of color blindness with some worse than others and others worse than some!

My wife is at the opposite end of the blindness scale. She can pick colors based on memory. In otherwords, she can match paint (in the store) to colors that are in the house, even though we did not bring a sample or chip!

Of course she gets into the same flowery notations that Jill does.
