I was contacted by the Nevada Business License division a few days ago about displaying my license.

I was told I had to display on my website my business license. Just as a "Brick & Mortar" business has to display theirs in a conspicuous place.

I told them that "I would comply once everyone else did the same" I also told them that I have not, to my recollection, ever seen a website with business license info anywhere!"

In short that was the Wrong Answer (or at least one they did not care to hear).

I checked a number of Nevada chip dealer websites, and other Nevada "business websites" for their business licence info - but did not find one.

Maybe they are doing this when you renew your license (which I just did last week)

Has anyone else been contacted or renewed their license lately?
I would be quite upset to find I am the only one who was bothered to do this.

Does anyone else here in Nevada have a Nevada business license and tax ID #?
