I've heard rumors from several people closely associated with Harrah's that when they complete the new hotel tower at the Showboat in Atlantic City they will change the name of the property to Harrah's on the Boardwalk Casino/Hotel which will thus end the long history of the Showboat and the Showboat Casino name. Has anyone else heard these rumors? Also what other Showboat Casinos were there under Showboat Inc. and after the merger with Harrah's?
