When the Navy's Top Gun school moved from California to Fallon, Nevada, the Fallon Nugget issued a commemorative Top Gun chip. The Navy uses the F-14 Tomcat and the chip has F-14 written on it. However, the photo is of an F-16 Falcon, flown by the Air Force. My friend, a Top Gun flight instructor pointed this out to me but didn't answer the question of whether this was a spoof by the AF pilots who frequent the school in giving wrong info to the Nugget.
