I don't speak for the club but in the past there has never been selling allowed. One year someone brought a large selection of new things (I think it was books)that were for sale only. The purpose of the rule is to let people who want to sell something pay the rental on the tables at the show. If you and another trader work out a deal at the trade session and his chip is worth $5 more than yours no one is going to say anything if you dig out that $5 bill. If all you have are chips for sale then you need to rent a table at the show. Common sense prevails.
