Though I was not in the UK when they converted in
1971, I was in France (1962) when both the New
franc and franc coins and notes were both in
circulation at the same time.

I also look forward to the French casinos
converting here in the Caribbean. I guess the
N.A. casinos will keep with the USD.

Who knows, maybe one day (during the Bush
administration) we may convert over to the "New
Dollar" as France did in the early-60s - where
ever 100-USD will be worth 1 New Dollar (ND)... then I bet the word OBSOLETE will quickly be understood by ALL chip collectors - like real fast.
