At Casino Austria, the croupiers are already briefed and the players will most probably be the FIRST to recieve EURO's. Bets placed just before midnight will be paid in EURO just AFTER midnight on the 1 of January 2002. Can imagen the hasle of taking all the jetons out of play and replace by the new Racks. For shure 'old' OBSOLETE jetons will go into pockets just after midnight.
Unfortunatly I can be at only 1 casino at midnight.
The players recieving the Euro's jetons/chips/plaques will be first, as ALL ATM will give on the 1 of January EURO instead of the 'normal' monetary. By then they have the Euro jetons already in play for hours....

Like JB says ALL of our jetons/chips/plaques we have in our collection we be OBSOLETE as of that historic moment in time. AND WE CAN START AGAIN to get jetons/chips in Euro from all the European Casino. Now just that I got that far, I do it again. But like many of us , the thrill is in the chase...
So me too would like to see the word OBSOLETE in the glossary.
