Actually, I wondered about that. I looked on my Sentry safe that is rated at keeping the contents below 350 degrees for up to 2 hours. For fun, I put some sample chips in the oven on 325 for 7 minutes. Look at the results...

Does anyone know first hand of chips having gone through a fire in a fire proof safe? Did they turn out like these?
