The Trenkle Casino chips are not scarce or rare.
The were purchased from the owners by Doug Saito back in 1997. Doug sold them in his AD-dendum to Chip Chat #9, limit one to a customer, as follows:

50 cent - $22.00
$1.00 - $12.00
$5.00 - $18.00

I will quote from Doug's write up: "The blackjack table that the Trenkles operated at the Roadrunner Inn only lasted for a year, and that's the reason why most of the chips show little wear........"
