The casino is in a no win situation.
If they put no limit on the number of chips, one person can buy them all and collectors will complain.
If they put a limit on the number of chips you can buy, it makes it difficult for the dealers to fill their orders and the collectors complain.
If they set aside chips for certain dealers, then those who don't get the chips feel that the casino is showing favoritism (how many of us like to hear that every chip is accounted for before the release) and collectors complain.
If the casino issues a small number of chips and only a few people can get them, we all complain.
If the casino issues the chips in large enough numbers that everyone can get them, nobody want's them.
My solution is this. I have a new policy on LE's. I don't buy them except for three exceptions:
1) Part of a series which I have already started.
2) Theme is actually related to gambling (i.e. WSOP chips).
3) It is related to the Club (ie convention chips).
Relax Andy, David still wants LE's so you and George will keep getting orders from me.
