Kevin…
I can't be sure I've read the entire thread, since I read some of it last night at home, but there is one MAJOR factor that I haven't seen yet…
If you keep your chips alphabetically, there is constant movement of chips between pages. Find an Aladdin chip, and you find yourself moving your whole Las Vegas collection. With the 30-pocket pages, and the 20-pocket pages from the small binders where the chips are squeezed naked into the pockets, you find your fingertips either bleeding or close to it by the time you finished moving a bunch of them.
I, like Andy and others, keep mine in flips in the large 20-pocket pages, and every time I have to reorganize them, I leave two empty pockets at the bottom of each page. This system has worked like a dream. My fingertips are now healthy.
