I stopped at Kactus Kate's a few times on the drive to/from LV. They had a pretty good hamburger combo at their fast food counter. I even played BJ and had a stack of $5's in my hand at the time. Only kept one...it was pre-CC>CC and I didn't know any other chippers to trade with. Wish I still had that stack!

Also recall Pop's Oasis. I remember stopping there after dark a couple of times. Collected chips off the single crap table near the entrance. Converted from a full-size table so that 1 dealer could operate the whole thing. There were never more than 1 or 2 other gamblers in the whole place whenever I was there. The prison up the hill cast an errie glow on the area with its glaring perimeter lights in contrast to the dark desert surrounding it.
