Gene, I did not want to imply there was anything wrong with the auction. Everything he said was accurate.

My question goes back to the time of the convention when these chips were all originally sold

It just seems to me that everyone (at the time) took the word of the seller of these chips at the convention to be factual. Or possibly the seller never did make mention of the fact of where they originated and people just assumed they were from Las Vegas.

In any case, I was just surprised that so many people were taken in. I also think is was a fair price IF the chips were in fact from Las Vegas, but not so if they were illegals as you are attributing them.
