... incarnation, I was an engineer of sorts.
That is, when I went to West Point, there were no majors and everyone took an engineering curriculum, including 2 years of math (calculus, advanced algebra & trigonometry, probability & statistics, etc.); earth, space & graphic sciences; chemistry & physics; and mechanical, electrical, civil, ordinance and automotive engineering.
I actually understood about 10% of what they were trying to teach in those classes ... which is why I'm NOT an engineer now.
