Had a nice time at the chip dig at Sharkey's in Gardnerville today. It was a small but elite group of dealers who had some exceptional chips available (including the $5 Kings Inn below, which John Chamberlain had). Listening to Dean Richmond reminisce about his association with the late Pick Hobson was priceless, and for those of you who haven't seen Steve McLendon's old-time Tahoe casino photos (State Line Country Club, 49er Club, Capy Rix, Ta-Neva-Ho), you've missed something special.
