When a person is arrested for drunk driving they are taken into custody and kept in a jail cell in the police station. They don't just give folks a citation and let them drive off in a drunken haze. This is what happened to Bush. It was a very short time he spent in a cell, I believe about an hour and a half, until strings were pulled and he was released. I agree the timing is unfortunate, but my feeling is when a person runs for President they should reveal any skeletons in their closet themselves. Be interesting to see if it makes a difference on Tuesday. I'm not sure it will. Most folks have their minds made up by now.
