GRAND CERCLE AIX-LES-BAINS (SAVOIE) FRANCE
Three-piece set (Circa: 1948 - 1960s)
Prior to the French Monetary Reform Act (1961 -),
casinos had the option of either ordering a new
inventory or adjusting the value of existing
inventory to conform with the New Franc (NF).
Jetons and plaques could be overstamped on the rim
with their new denomination, or a comma could have
been added in the denomination. Every 100 French
francs was reduced to 1 New franc.
The 3-piece set consists of:
500NF/50.000F gold oval seen below. 102X72mm -
Serial N° 0079.
100NF/10.000 salmon rectangular. 80X55mm -
Serial N° 0319

50NF/5.000F Olive-green oval. 80X55mm -
Serial N° 0481
I have two sets remaining from the original eight
sets.
The Set: $430
Remnants: 5.000 - Olive-green oval - $110
I would also consider breaking up the duplicate set
if there was interest in any two of the three pieces:
50.000 - $215
10.000 - $105
