My comment was only on chippers volunteering on this open board how they store chips, particularly when it implies they have large quantities at their home.
In the magazine article, I would not identify the contributors. They know who they are <g>.

I also have a comment about the article in the current Club magazine regarding cleaning of chips. Although I found the article entertaining, without some editorial judgement being applied to the many and contradictory methods suggested, I don't think a novice collector would have come away with useful knowledge. May I suggest that a summary of the methods that you judge to be safe and effective would have been a good way to conclude such a submittal. Between the soaking in solvent, oiling with baby oil, and microwaving, I'm afraid some of the chip cleaning folklore is just being perpetuated. Some of the anecdotes were obviously meant to be humorous, but the message tends to get lost in the stories.
