Re: A PayPal nightmare...a Halloween story?

Ron,
I had a similar thing happen to me a few weeks ago. This is how PayPal recruits new members. I informed the buyer that I did not have PayPal and that he should have checked with me first before sending payment through PayPal. I told him that he would have to cancel the payment and send me a check. He was able to do that. It was not a "horror", but took a little longer than usual.
Not because of this incident, but since then, I have been reconsidering using PayPal. I know that this has been discussed here a few times, but what do others think about PayPal now that it has been around a while?
Thanks--Alan.
