I have used paypal from the beginning with no problems. What they have done is credit that money to the email provided by buyer. Once you sign up and provide that email the money will be placed in your account. Paypal has eliminated the problem of lost payments and the delay associated with mailings. The buyer can cancel this payment and send by regular mail but you can do nothing but sign up to get payment. I recommend signing up but it is hard for some to face that it is the 21st century.
