I'm not really complaining. And I'm sure you're not being a Yankee Fan. The facts are the Yankees are playing by the rules. "Spend as much as you want". The same rules everyone else is playing by. The big disadvantage other teams have is they don't have a 100 Million Cable TV/Radio Contract to provide them the revenue NY does.

They spent MORE $$$ than anyone else this year to field the team that won the World Series. Case Closed. The only difference between them and the 97' Marlins is they can afford to keep the overpriced players to repeat again next year. The Marlins could not.

And guess what, TV ratings were down on the oh mighty great "Subway Series" because outside the Betting World and NY, nobody really gave 2 #####s about the 2 highest paid teams in baseball!
