On page-4 of our current magazine I read:
"All ads must have your membership number and name
someplace in the ad."
If one does not have to be a member in order to
adverise, I guess this will also allow non-club
members who are chapter members to advertise,
too....or do we draw a line here?
I'm just trying to get some ground rules straight by
asking if our magazine is no longer for members
only. If not, and if anyone can advertise in the
club magazine (and convention program), why was my
idea of allowing advertising on our club web site
shot down? We could still have the club BB
"club related business only!"
If this thought of not having to be a club member in
order to adverise is accepted, then why not make our
club magazine available to card rooms, bingo halls
and casinos all over the world? Wouldn't this type
of paid advertising help our magazine grow? How
about casinos advertising a "New Issue Subscription
Service" through "their choice" of middleman? Would that, too, be a great idea to allow our magazine to grow?
