I don't know, Chuck. I don't think the issue is solely the quality increase cost. I think it's John Yee asking: "Any thoughts on making all the magazines first class" that have some (so far) concerned.

Where is the money going to come from? As Archie states: "Four issues per year would consume $12.80 of annual dues payment just to pay for Priority Mail alone....not counting printing costs."

My suggestion in my lead post was that those who would like to receive their subscription First Class simply pay the additinal cost.

Others have said why even have a First Class mailing?

A question was asked....and some chose to respond. Some chose to agree and some chose not to agree with those responses. Some good suggestions came about.
