For those who are of the opinion that ALL mailings of the club magazine should be sent via Priority Mail.... here are the facts:

Any first-class mailings over 13 ounces up to two pounds is automatically sent via Priority Mail.... the club has no choice.

At $3.20 per mailing, it would cost the club $7,680 PER ISSUE just for postage to 2400 members!

Four issues per year would consume $12.80 of annual dues payments just to pay for priority postage alone..... not counting printing costs.

My suggestion is to limit the magazine to 100 pages and return to the less expensive interior paper if we are to leave the dues structure the way it is now. Otherwise, everybody will have to pony-up some more money. There simply are no free rides. Somebody has to pay for the frills.
