If you looked at the whole incident, it looked like it could have have been scripted. ....call me cynical, but after the bat shard was tossed, Piazza turns toward Clemens. Clemens waits until an umpire is between them and the customary "hold me back" teammates have arrived at the mound before he starts needing to be "held back"....

....watch for them to be working for the same ad campaign in the near future.
