For the sale of a $25 item, eBay will charge a $1.00 (or less) to list the item and another $1.25 final sale fee. If the buyer does not come through, you can try to recover the final sale fee, but you cannot get out of paying the listing fee. Since buyers don't pay the fees, they tend to not think about them. It is much better if the sale goes through smoothly.

It is easy to say "I would probably suggest the seller resell if they didn't hear anything back in a day or two from the reminder email", but it is costly to the seller.

I have to learn to be more patient, one of the payments showed up today, and I know yours will show up soon.
