Funny isn't it! For me it ALWAYS starts with "well I'll just buy this one. That's it. No more." That is what I said before every new branch of my collection.

And I hate to admit it, but I have my room key from my trips to the Aladdin, Rio (an actual metal key) and Mandalay Bay. But those are just in the bottom of my sock drawer. That's not really a collection right :-)
