The data that is filled in on the messages is stored on your computer, not the message board. That is the info that is in your cookie. So, if computer 1 has "Jim in CA" for the name and computer 2 has "Jim in KS" for the name, what is filled in will depened on what computer you are on when you type the message, not when you view the message.
