"The value of chip collecting is to insure the chips are authentic, and were really used on the tables at the casinos"
One could suggest if slabbed chips are banned from the convention, LE's should be banned as well. These chips weren't really used at the tables. These are merely produced by the Casino so they can make a little extra money and they are bought up by the collectors and investors and in most cases never make it to the tables. A true chip should not be one that is just purchased at the cage, but one that can actually have been used at the tables. Others have said they are against the stabbed chip because you should be able to feel the chip and imagine someone famous or lucky may have actually used that chip. That can't be said for LE's because they never get a chance to get to the tables. They are merely made for the profit of the Casino and collectors with no intention of being used at the tables. Not good!
