... if you find one, even if it's just 10% of what
The Gaming Table is.
Seriously, I know what you're asking for, Mike,
but to find any work that would illustrate just
a small fraction of what's listed in TGT would mean searching all known chip auctions in the last 10+ years and compiling plates from; numismatic and hobby magazines from the world over; private inventory lists and brochures that have been offered in the last 30-years; Monsieur Victor GADOURY'S books and lists, Madam Jean-Marie LEWY'S price lists from 1973; articles from our club magazine withn the last 12-years; Ralph Tegtmier's notes and photo library from his
"Casinos" work; The ANA Library; back issues of
Boso's Numismatic Quarterly; The Marcel Barruero Collection in Monaco; The Bourgogne et Grasset Museum in France; Dale Seymour's home; Le Kursaal Musée du Casino in Liege, Belgium... and that's just for starters... as there is a heck of
a lot more searching for books relating to
gambling and casinos from France, Germany United Kingdom and several other Europen countries.
