For a full-fledged convention, the only hotel that would come close to having enough rooms is the Reno Hilton, which has around 2,000. But as the organizers of the international convention are well aware, just having enough rooms doesn't make a hotel a contender. I live two hours from Reno, and while I would love to see a bigger show in northern Nevada, I think Las Vegas will always be the logical choice for the international.
