James,
To respond to your post:
You quote this:
You didn't spend my money. Who's money do you spend other than yours? And who are you rtalking about? You?
"You have made the right choice in not spending "your" money on the ...
This just doesn't make any sense to me, but I'll try and answer. I was speaking to Scott, hence the beginning of the sentence - Scott, I think you ...
I do not believe what you say is true of our rudeness you feel you received in your valid question.
You would not of received an answer like that. That is not words that I feel my friend Steve would speak.
So now you're calling me a liar? You don't even know the situation, but you feel confident enough that since I said something you don't like, I'm a liar.
Maybe you don't understand the English tone of voice. Where are you from sir?
It's too bad you don't remember your customers. I've purchased items from, talked with you at several shows, and even had a phone conversation with you. I speak English very well, and I live in Las Vegas. Look for another excuse.
Please tell me what chip is in question. Or in fact priced wrong? I need to know to answer your question that as you said you did not ask me as I was away from my table.
It's not a question. I know the answer! The chip was from The Flame. I purchased it from Joe Benon for $6.00. It was valued in your book for several hundred. (I can't remember exactly.) If you've ever dealt with Joe, you know he's not going to let a chip worth several hundred go for $6.00. Your book states that The Flame in Las Vegas is "believed" to have had a blackjack game at one time. That is NOT TRUE. That is the constructive criticism I was offering to Steve that day.
We admit we have made errors. We have a disclosure in the front of the book that of course we admit that some will be made. We tell collectors to please write us.
AS I SAID, it wasn't the error that really bothered me, but the way it was handled by Steve. (remember, this originally appeared in a thread re: the arrogance and rudeness of C/W and the book.
We openly have asked for any comments or questions. We welcome constructive criticism. I do not feel however yours is!
Of course you don't, neither did Steve. I wonder why?
I'm not going to get into a p*ssing contest with you, I just don't have the time. I did want to answer your questions, though.
