Vicki, thank you for the most sensible post about slabbing yet. You have hit the nail on the head. Most of these guys concerns will never affect the collector grade chips or the more common chips. The hobby is changing with or without slabbing and they aren't able to move with it and slabbing will NOT ruin the hobby. I DO agree that the ICG grading scale may not be the answer. Do all grading services us the coin grading scale of 1-100 or 1-70 whatever it is? The higher prices get the more collectors or investors will need some sort of universal grading.
