I'm a newbie and frankly I don't understand the issue about ads in the magazine promoting slabbing. Does not the magazine have editorial and advertising guidelines? Health magazines don't allow cigarette advertising and I'm sure there are people who smoke working for these magazines. I see no reason to allow pro-slabbing ads if a majority of the collectors are against slabbing. There are plenty of places, I'm sure, where they can get their message out. Are there too many cooks in the kitchen or is it simply the revenue the club is looking for?
If the magazine needs the revenue then admit it and so be it. If it doesn't then don't permit pro-slabbing ads.
