Again, I think the people that need to address this are the club officers. It's not up to the editors of the club magazine, the advertising manager of the magazine, the convention chairperson or any of the other volunteers in the club to set club policies or to interpret them. That's the responsibility of the club officers. Unfortunately the candidate who took the strongest position against slabbing in the recent election lost. I think we need to lobby the new officers to take a stand against slabbing. Are any of the new officers willing to state publicly that they will vote to not allow slabbing companies to advertise in our club magazine or to have a table at our convention?
