I will therefore grant permission to whoever would like to scan my 12 pages for all to see since I do own the information too.
This is a challenge to any one wanting to do so without any alterations. I still don't know exactly how to do this. Tried & didn't do something correctly or could it be through cable modem I have to do something different than my phone line computer in Vegas. Got the ebay link to work. More chips closing tommorow. Some lots are closing now or already did.
I am getting response that many new collectors do not own my book & have never seen it. It is not fair to you or I to make accusations about this book now is it? Not if you haven't seen it for yourself.
If available to you why do you not want it?
If a person is collecting why not learn all you can about a subject?
We cover All of Nevada, that is Las Vegas, Lake Tahoe, Reno & then alphabetically all of the small towns. In all this is a 253 page listing of chips. Pictured are 6 chips per page. In the back we also have 37 pages of text listing all Nevada commemorative chips up through the Millenium & the Super Bowl. In the folowing pages we also cover the cities in Colorado. Deadwood, S.D. and Atlantic City. New this year is the Riverboat states. The first book we published did not list Commemoratives. We also added a full index. There are dozens of old pictures of the little clubs to the big casinos. Some rare stuff here! Also dates of operation to learn when they were open & on some listings I told about what was at that location & what is there now.
Included in the back we have a Casino Chip & Gaming Token Collectors Club Memebership Application. One full page.
In all we have 396 pages!
This is a sturdier book than the first edition & no binding problems at all. A very heavy book for it's 6 X 9 inch size.
To listen to others who do not recommend this because of a 12 page (mostly pictures of chips in various conditions) grading listing is rediculous. As mentioned before, education is the key. The more you are armed with the better you will be at anything you do in life. Don't you want an edge on the other guy when it comes to buying or trading some chips?
