When someone brings up the “S” word (slabbing) it causes quite a stir amongst chip collectors. Andy proudly proclaims “285” collectors now denouncing slabbing. Gene Trimble is soliciting “The Slabfree Chapter” with a LIFETIME membership cost of $5 (that’s almost FREE). (everything OK up to now) ….. I read on in Gene’s note, at the bottom there is a footnote boasting “We have about 100 members at this time” 100??? O n e H u n d r e d ?? That’s It?? All this fuss over slabbing and there is ONLY one hundred supporters??? WHAT”S WRONG WITH THIS PICTURE??? (answer: Fellows cough up the five bucks, talk is cheap)
