It's like a "leaner" in horseshoes John. One that didn't quite encircle the stake might be called a CS96-CS99, depending upon the angle of lean. One that touches the stake flat on the ground may be a CS95, while a shoe 1-inch away may be judged a CS91 or CS92.... but still close to a ringer if the open end of the shoe is pointing toward the stake.
