I agree. If I am concerned that a chip may not be authentic, I will seek an expert opinion from someone that I trust as being honest and knowledgable. Now can you tell me why you would trust the opinion of ICG?
They have demonstrated no particular expertise in chip authentication. They have a vested interest in declaring chips to be authentic. And just be finalize the thing, when they are done they will seal the chip in plastic so that there work can not be double checked without breaking the seal.
I would rather ask Gene Trimble for his free advice.
