Indian casinos are a poor bet in many ways. Try to find video poker machines with pay-tables anywhere near what you see in Las Vegas. They figure most players don't know the difference and the casinos are usually isolated so they are 'the only game' in the little town. I imagine the keno payoffs are shaved for the same reason.
I have to say that some of the indian casinos in Oregon are finally starting to compete at 21. I see some single deck now. On shoes, I see some that stand on soft-17. There are also more favorable doubling and splitting rules than there used to be.
Do you know of any indian owned casinos in Nevada, Vicki? I don't think there are any. They couldn't compete.
