I have no knowledge of these chips.
I do know that some cages have chips in the windows and chips in double custody. Double custody chips does not have to be counted individualy at shift change as they are locked down and it takes 2 keys to open it. There is a tag on them that says what the total amount is.
At count they count the windows and add the double custody number from the tag and get the total float.
Could have been any number of all denominations in double custody. This may or may not have been the case here. Unless we are privy to counts and any destruction records, no one will ever know.
I doubt the word "Pallets" that is a lot of chips but I do not doubt that a lot of chips could exist.
