As we write in our chip guide. Armor All has proven to be the safest. I have used it for years. Put in on about a minute or start rubbing with a tooth brush right away. You will be amazed how even chips that look not to dirty will shine. Beware of old C&J mold hot stamps. Ohters, even some old used Small Key molds were scrubbed & not problem. I use the Multi Purpose Cleaner for the tough grunge & grime & germs. Then the Protectant the commonly used black with orange bottle for the final shine or just to clean a slightly dirty chip. I have sent out many cleaned chips to ebay customers etc. & never a complaint about them being cleaned or anything. The Cleaner sometimes can dull the chip a bit. SO the protectant can be rubbed in- even with just your fingers & let sit awhile. Let sit for days, it won't hurt a thing. Now for dull looking chips cleaned by soap & water or that pink goo stuff you may need a little oil even after the protectant. Message oil or Jojoba oil works great. I even hear breai open a Vitamin E. Oil soaks in a bit & brings out that luster.
For cleaning cement like Dunes chips & other stuff write me if you mucst. Those old buried chips were tough to clean.
For sticky stuff or residue left by stickers use Goo Gone. Available at quite a few stores. It's cheap & like WD-40 has so many uses. It even got sap of my car paint! The bird droppings from these Seagulls around here are even tougher! Luckily none have fallen on my chips only my head during a Dodger's game!
Now it's time to go clean the house. Oh wait it's Easter what am I even doing, doing chippin'! Dont' tell my girlfriend.
