Thank you for making my point David, regarding auctions that are controlled by the clock rather than a live auctioneer... and what is "fair" to the seller. May have got a new bidder in play at the end, which may have ignited another round of bids by the previous snipers. Ebay does not give a true reflection of value in most cases.
