I'm afraid that what it boils down to is bigcasino & Chipper 7964 wanted the chip worse than you did. I aways bid the most I'm willing to pay for a chip & forget about it. If I'm outbid, oh well. It wasn't meant to be, another chip will come along.

It's a free market & I see no difference between bidding during the 1st 5 seconds of an auction & the last 5 seconds.
