Sometimes the sample chip uses an alternative version of the actual chip. Here's a Tropicana superbowl 28 commemorative that is different from the actual chip (seen on the right). Actual chip had a house mold and was the usual Trop red with 3 purple inserts. The sample was a H&C mold and used 4xblue/yellow inserts on a brighter red chip. The red in the graphic is also different from the final chip. This one is not notched.
