There was no problem with having the Horseshoe logo on the chips if we wanted that. The 2000 chip set was for the 1999 BARGE winner which was held at The Orleans. BARGE then went back to the Horseshoe last year. The seven of us on the committee voted on if we should go with the Horseshoe logo on either set & as you can see the vote went in favor of not having it.
As for......
"if you aren't a participant or know the winner, there's not a lot of chip interest"
That could not be further from the truth. BARGE sets sell out every year & not just to those attending BARGE. I'm sure these will sell out too. Besides, for both sets (16 chips) plus postage it works out to $1.70 a chip (if you order by May 13th). Hard to go wrong there for these great looking chips!
