Hi Walter; I don't know how long you have been reading this bulletin board, but my guess is that you probably consider me to be one of the infamous ten folks who post regularly to this board.

Walter, just like you, I have opinions on many subjects that affect this hobby. I'm not afraid to publicly state my feelings and thoughts. This bb needs more independent thinkers who can contribute constructively to the rights and wrongs in this hobby. Too many readers of this bb are content to sit in the shadows and lurk and say nothing... yet criticize those who are honest and up-front and candidly say what they believe.... like Jim Perlowski. I respect you for coming out of the shadows and expressing your opinon. More lurkers should do that.

I would like to make one constructive suggestion to you before you comment any further on slabbing. That is to visit www.slabfree.com (if you have not already done so)and read up on the issues. It just might change your perspective of what the anti-slabbing group is attempting to accomplish. On the other hand, it may do nothing to change your viewpoint ... and that's o.k. too.

In the meantime; I for one will continue to constructively speak out on controversial issues that affect this great hobby. I hope that many of the "lurkers" among us would occassionally speak out as well.
