I have read I think most of the postings on this BB and the Club BB about the hoard of Playboy chips that has recently surfaced. Several years ago a friend of mine related the following story to me about a group of Playboy chips that did not get destroyed when the Casino closed. Here's how it went to the best of my memory. The "TOKENS" from the Playboy Casino were sent back to the factory to be melted down and made into other tokens. I believe the factory that produced the tokens was the GDC Green Duck Corporation and they were located somewhere in Mississippi. Some how in the shipping of the tokens to Mississippi a quanitity of "CHIPS" was also sent to the Green Duck facility by mistake. The "CHIPS" were received at the factory but no one knew what to do with them so they sat outside on a loading for a period of time. Workers at the factory at some point figured that no one wanted these chips and they were taken home and used in "Friday Night" card games. After a while there was some sort of investigation into what happened to the chips, but nothing was really found out and the workers who had taken the chips from the loading dock said they had thrown the chips away. Now several years later the hoard of Playboy chips has surfaced. Again, this account of what alledgedly happened may be just a pipe dream or may be this is the explanation of were the Playboy chips came from. You decide, because I sure don't know!
