I'm still a bit confused as to how the Casino can accurately calculate the hold at a table or pit when some players buy chips at the cage, others take their chips from one game to another, etc. In some instances people even cash their chips at other casinos. For example if Player A buys in for $100, plays for an hour as a single player and leaves $20 down, he's right on target for the table's 20 percent hold. But if Players A and B sit down, one buys in for $100 at the table and the other brings $100 in chips from the cage, and each loses $20, the table's hold would theoretically be 40 percent. Yet in reality the casino's hold was 20 percent.
