I CAN visualize this & that's why I asked the question. I have a $100 poker chip from 1935. My Dad & Uncles tell me stories of the Great Depression; how a $5 bill was considered a fortune, no jobs, eating oatmeal for dinner, etc. I'm just facinated by the dichotomy.
The last time I was in AC I took a walk downtown (a big mistake by the way)... real poverty and people are betting $1000 chips two blocks away. It was an interesting experience.
